The Living Room newcastle restaurant seats 120 and 250 in the piano bar. Food
influences at the living room range from leisurely New York style brunch
on Sundays’, a menu dedicated to the celebration of home-comfort-eating
through to simple Continental-Asian dishes served with great wine. residents can order from the living room menu and have any items charged back to their room.

a hidden gem amongst the hustle and bustle of grey street. open all day and night to both hotel guests and the public. pop in during the day for a coffee and cake and take advantage of the wi-fi access. in the evening, our bar manager can conjure up a magical mix of cocktails, or simply enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer. thecellarbar can also be hired for exclusive use for up to 40 guests.

the nutty irishman
frangelico hazelnut liqueur, baileys irish cream, milk, nutmeg.
blend the frangelico, baileys and milk together with ice and drain. sprinkle with the nutmeg.
snake eyes
kahlua, cream, frangelico hazelnut liqueur – combine equal parts kahlau and cream, stir well, pour into martini glasses. using a stirrer or narrow spoon, pour frangelico into the centre of the mixture to create the ‘eye’.
private dining
event rooms are air-conditioned, cool and contemporary, perfect for that intimate event for up to 10, or a larger celebration for up to 65 guests. menus are provided by the living room and you can choose from home cooked to modern day cuisine. a perfect choice of great surroundings and great food in the centre of newcastle’s art and cultural renaissance.
